ERA LEARNING SCHOOL
Learning is a process that begins at birth to improve literacy rates in the country. It is imperative to expose children to a culture of learning when they are young. Center was inaugurated in collaboration with SSA, Dept. of education Delhi. The project was set up at Mukundpur in Delhi with four major objectives .
To identify 120 children every year in the age group of 7 to 14 years from low economic group.
To provide low cost nutrition and equip these children with basic gross and prepare these children for school.
To mainstream these children in to school.
To remedial classes to ensure that the children enrolled in govt. school. Currently we are running one more residential school in a slum village of Supaul district of Bihar. We have celebrated Children's day where students have participated in several innovative cultural programs with full energy making it a grand success. CAREER COACHING FOR SC/ST/OBC & MINORITY.
Society has provided free coaching for SSC,BANKING ,JEE and some other competitive examination for SC/ST/OBC and minority students who belong the poor section of society at saharsa in bihar. This institute [ERA ACADEMY] are being monitored by selected group of excellent teaching staffs of ERA. Last year 12 children [30%] have succeed from this institution.
COMPUTER LITERACY PROGRAM
The computer literacy program will also make the rural youth techno survey and assist them to complete with the other part of the world. Computer training is a good source to earn the bread that’s why ERA has started training of computer education at kullu in himachalpradesh since august 2013.At present there are 60 trainer are enrolled at this training center.
AN ENGLISH MEDIUM CO-ED RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL
KOSHI KAMLA VIDYAPEETH had a modest beginning on 30th Nov. 2012. It is an English medium co-educational day and residential school, which provides multi – faceted education to its students from nursery to class VIII. This will naturally fulfil the purpose of a total education on envisioned by our great gurudev Rabindranath Tagore who has rightly captioned it as “ True education means – harmonious development of body, mind and soul together.”
AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAM
ERA has conducted aids awareness campaign at many cluster and bus terminal in delhi. every year. In this campaign we provide nukkadnatak, munadi, counseling, film presentation and distribution of IEC material among the people. We have also conducted a seminar on 1stdecember, world aids day at BIRATNAGAR in SUPAUL district .boarder of Nepal and Bihar.
HEALTH CHECK – UP CAMP
Our team of ERA has organized two health check up camp at BURARI and TIMARPUR in Delhi. 150 beneficiaries are checked at this camp like B.P. suger, fever,coldblod group , eye and other synonyms by Dr. rammilansingh and Dr. Satish kumar.
